Liquid Mechanics Brewing - 2nd Anniversary Bash & Music Festival
Liquid Mechanics Brewing Co. will be celebrating in a big way for their 2nd Anniversary Bash and Music Festival on August 20th running from noon to midnight. There will be over 20 beers on tap with two very special collaboration beers including a cherry imperial sour saison brewed with Odell Brewing Co. (Fort Collins, CO) and Weldwerks Brewing (Greeley, CO), and a juicy east coast inspired IPA brewed with Avery Brewing (Gunbarrel CO). Owner and Head Brewer Seth Townsend commented “We are honored and humbled that some of our favorite breweries in Colorado chose to collaborate with us on two amazing beers for our celebration, those brewers have many options on who to spend their time with outside of their own hectic production schedules. We can’t wait to release these beers to the public.”

Two food trucks will be on-site throughout the day, and a large portion of the parking lot will be reserved for beer drinking and live music.

What you need to know if you go:

~Free 2nd anniversary branded pint glasses will be given away along with free pint tickets to the first people in line while supplies last. So get there early.
~Music on the outside stage runs from noon to 9pm, starting with Rusty 44 and Wild Mountain Honey and finishing with The Hazel Miller Band from 7-9pm. Rogue 2 takes over the inside stage from 9-11pm.
~Bring sunblock and folding chairs to enjoy the outside music in the parking lot.
~All beer will be $5 per pour via tickets purchased with cash, or by credit card in the inside tasting room.
~Beer will be served inside the main tasting room, and at a station in the parking lot next to the stage.
~The party turns to 21+ only after 9pm.

Parker Brewfest
The Parker Brewfest is an event for the connoisseur of craft beer. 2,000 craft beer drinkers will be at O’Brien Park in beautiful downtown Parker on August 20th, 2016. There will be two sessions to attend, 1000 craft beer drinkers per session. Attendees receive a 2-ounce glass to roam the park and taste Colorado’s finest Craft Beers. They will also be able to purchase food from a number of food trucks that will be stationed adjacent to the park.

The net profit from this event will be donated to charity.

This is a rain or shine event and there will be no refunds, so be prepared for Colorado weather.

Oktoberfest
The T.E.V. Edelweiss Club, located at 17832 Highway 8, Morrison, CO, announces its annual Oktoberfest to be held on August 27th and 28th, 2016. This two-day event is a replica of an authentic German Festival featuring German bands, dancers, homemade food and, of course, Imported German beer. Sponsored by the German American Chamber of Commerce.

The event kicks off on Saturday, August 28th, at 12 p.m. There will be guest speakers, an Opening Ceremony, and lots of music. Their live band, The Alpine Echo, will end around 11 p.m.; however, other types of music are available for those who wish to stay longer.

On Sunday, August 28th, the day starts at 12:00 p.m., with a Fruhschoppen (beer and a sausage) and, of course, more music. It ends with a happy hour starting at 4:00 p.m. At 5:00 p.m., there will be food and drink specials for those wishing to stay and enjoy the beautiful day.

Glendale's Bruises And Brews Beerfest

Join thousands of rugby fans and beer aficionados at Glendale’s Bruises & Brews Beerfest Saturday August 27, from 12-4 p.m. at Infinity Park in Glendale. 20 breweries will showcase their top brews, along with a few distilleries and a couple terrific hard ciders. Beer and rugby… they are better together!

For the complete Bruises & Brews Beerfest experience, fans also gain admittance to the 2016 Serevi RugbyTown Sevens tournament. (This would be the “Bruises” part!)

Rugby 7s is a fast paced, hard-hitting game that will debut at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for both men and women. These fast matches last for two seven-minute halves and feature seven players on each side. This year, 20 teams from five nations, including teams from each branch of the US Military, will be competing in over 50 rugby matches over three days for a $10,000 purse.

Admission for the Bruises & Brews Beerfest includes a ticket to the rugby tournament, a commemorative beer tasting mug and is only $35. Free parking only a block from the stadium is available for all.

Historic Downtown Durango

The San Juan Brewfest is the biggest and best beer tasting festival in the Four Corners. Held every year on the Saturday before Labor Day weekend, the event benefits United Way of Southwest Colorado.

The Brewfest will be on Saturday August 27 from 1 to 5 pm at Buckley Park in Historic Downtown Durango. 50+ breweries attend, all with at least two beers for you to sample, so over 100 beers will be available.

General Admission ticket costs $30.

New in 2016 is an upgraded General Admission ticket for $45 which gets you in 1/2 hour earlier than everyone else plus an event t-shirt.

VIP ticket costs $70. VIP's receive early entry to the Brewfest (one hour before everyone else), a meal during the Brewfest in the VIP tent, VIP only bathrooms, an event t-shirt, and an invite to a private party with the participating breweries the night before the Brewfest.

If you run in the Thirsty 13 Half Marathon, held the same day as the Brewfest, you will have an option during registration to purchase a 1/2 price general admission ticket.

All ticket holders will receive a souvenir 5 oz tasting glass to sample the beers from our breweries.

Live entertainment is included at the Brewfest, lineup to be announced in early 2016
Food will be available for purchase inside the event for General Admission ticket holders
