Briar Common Brewery Crafty Classes- Malt Varieties : Base Vs Specialty

Briar Common Brewery is very excited to announce the dates for the next six months of the exclusive opportunity of Briar Common Brewery Crafty Classes. They will provide a complimentary Brewing Educational Series for their guests at Briar Common Brewery + Eatery.

Greg, their head brewer + co-founder is recognized as a certified Cicerone and has the credentials of the Beer Judge Certification Program.

The courses will begin at 4:30pm and will last one hour and fifteen minutes. Each course will provide the exclusive opportunity to learn about different varieties of not only beer, but will include various hops + their characteristics and well as yeast and brewing techniques; all the while tasting some of their creations.

2020 Rocky Mountain Brewing Symposium

This exciting one-day event brings brewers and renowned experts together from all over the Rocky Mountain Region for the exchange of information and ideas. At $99 per person, symposium admission is affordable for those with even the most modest budget. Breakfast and lunch are included in this great low price. Because Colorado is home to so many microbreweries and brewpubs, we believe this is the perfect place to hold an event designed by and for breweries. Even so, attendance is limited to about 200 people, making RMBS an approachable, relaxed brewing conference.

So whatâ€™s a firkin?
The cask conditioning of ales is a traditional British style of brewing that originated centuries ago when publicans lived above their pubs and made a lifeâ€™s work out of tending their beers. Cask ales are fermented, conditioned and served in a single cask, the â€˜Firkinâ€™ being the British cask size most commonly used.

We are back this year with bigger, badder brews and lots of fun things planned. This is a highly anticipated event, and tickets will sell out! Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite or in person at the brewery.
