Big Beers Belgians & Barleywines Festival 20th Anniversary

The Big Beers, Belgians & Barleywines Festival is a three day celebration of craft beer held in the majestic Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Designed as a specialty beer festival focused on education, the Big Beers Festival also offers attendees the opportunity to enjoy the winter playground of Breckenridge, Colorado and has become a destination event for beer lovers and connoisseurs around the globe.
This year marks the twentieth anniversary weekend of the Big Beers Festival, which will be held primarily at Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center in Breckenridge. In addition to the Commercial Tasting, the largest event of the weekend, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy twelve unique educational seminars, four food and beer pairing experiences, and a myriad of additional events throughout the Town of Breckenridge.
Known for the caliber of both the event and its participants, the Big Beers Festival showcases the beers of over 150 breweries and importers while offering a gathering place for the best of the best in the industry to convene and play. A unique opportunity to meet and visit with some of the most creative and innovative brewers in the business while enjoying some of the finest beer in the world, Big Beers is an experience not to miss.

Briar Common Brewery Crafty Classes- Yeast Strains : Stages Of Fermentation
Briar Common Brewery is very excited to announce the dates for the next six months of the exclusive opportunity of Briar Common Brewery Crafty Classes. They will provide a complimentary Brewing Educational Series for their guests at Briar Common Brewery + Eatery.
Greg, their head brewer + co-founder is recognized as a certified Cicerone and has the credentials of the Beer Judge Certification Program.
The courses will begin at 4:30pm and will last one hour and fifteen minutes. Each course will provide the exclusive opportunity to learn about different varieties of not only beer, but will include various hops + their characteristics and well as yeast and brewing techniques; all the while tasting some of their creations.

UllrGrass Music Festival returns to Parfet Park in downtown Golden, Colorado for a sixth straight year.
January 24 - 26.
Named one of the Top Ten Outdoor Festivals in Colorado by the Westword.
The three day festival features bluegrass legends from Yonder Mountain String Band and Leftover Salmon alongside local favorites Coral Creek and Head for the Hills. Throughout the weekend, festival-goers dressed in Viking regalia descend on the park for live music, costume contests and food and drink.
