The Colorado Beer Scene is changing - again. And if you like beer, it's changing for the better. Several new brewing operations are throwing open their doors this summer and into the fall, bringing new opportunities to find wonder and amazement at the bottom of a beer glass...
Elk Mountain Brewing in Parker opened for business July 1 to an enthusiastic crowd. Tom And Marcia Bell are busy filling the tanks with new beers, and plan on bringing more on line in the next few weeks.
The excitement is building at Colorado Mountain Brewery. Located just off I-25 in north Colorado Springs, it will be the newest addition to the growing number of breweries in Colorado Springs. Brewmaster Andy Bradley is busy, and plans to have all 6 flagship beers on tap by the Grand Opening in the last week of July.
BierWerks in Woodland Park is poised to pour you a beer, as soon as Jeff Aragon and Brian Horton cut through the red tape that Teller County has wrapped around their new operation. They, too, are shooting for a late-July opening.
Grimm Brothers Brewhouse in Loveland and Crazy Mountain Brewing Company in Edwards are oh-so-close to serving up beers to a thirsty public, too. We'll keep you posted on their openings as they get closer to B-Day.
